'Letterpress for All!' zine series

Contributing to letterpress being accessible for all.

The 5th zine is almost ready to post, several other zines on advanced techniques and maintenance are drafted—and first 4 of these zines have completed peer review as part of an accepted article in Feminist Media Histories: An International Journal! They’ll appear here as soon as that issue comes out (sometime in Spring 2025?).

Could the type zine lead to a Surprise Press? Who can say!!!
Screenshot of a Bluesky tweet where Andy Famiglietti says "Thanks to a chain of info links from a draft zine
@literaturegeek.bsky.social shared with me to the vandercook press website to my university art department I may have a line on some kind of press (not the big nice vandercook they once had, it is alas gone) STAY TUNED PRINT NERDS"

Forthcoming zines

Nos. 1-4 in this series are awaiting the Spring 2026 publication of a peer-reviewed journal issue they’re part of, but #5 has been written & will be published when I get a chance! …So numbering will look nonsensical until those first 4 zines are published—they’ve already completed peer review).

These “forthcoming” zines will be posted here for free online and offline (download/print) reading.
